Welcome to Zarroug Advisory, an advisory specialzing in substantial private transactions and being a creative catalyst in the artist managment space
Zarroug Advisory started in 2014 with our founder Suhayb Ibn M Zarroug selling private works by Yonia Fain from the Katz collection & representing Michael Hafftka a neo-Expressionist with works in The MoMA, The Met, & The National Gallery selling his works to the Schoettenstien family and others.
Following this we focused on secondary market historic works & blue chip sales selling works by Haring, Julie Mehretu, Warhol, Donald Judd, Mary Corse, Baselitz, and Ugo Rondinone.
In 2021 we presented mostly never before seen photos of Basquiat, the works were 1 of 3 limited edition prints by Richard Corman. We setup a private gallery in a penthouse two doors down from Basquiats studio where Cormans photos of Basquiat were taken in 1984 for Vogue.
During this time we also worked on the early development of Ricky Burrows an emerging artist currently being mentored by Rashid Johnson and represented by Harpers. Burrows is an artist on the rise who is a self taught figurative artist from Hartford. We created his first two pop-up's in Greenwich Connecticut & in Soho on Greene street. Ricky recently had his first solo show in 2023 at Harpers Gallery in NYC which sold out.
Our most recent focus is a Ugandan artist Adonias Ekuwe we've signed exclusively and will launch in the US in 2024 in collaboration with a gallery, Ekuwe is a one of a kind talent from Uganda who paints scenes of the markets palpable with the bustling energy of Kampala that transports viewers. Ocom's works are done on newsprint he collects with wash and charcoal.
